NOAA ALL HAZARDS WEATHER RADIO AT ALLIANT ENERGY IN MARSHALLTOWN HAS BEEN RESTORED.

A TEMPORARY BROADCAST WAS GENEROUSLY PROVIDED THROUGH RACOM FROM JUNE 18TH. THROUGH JULY 2ND. THE TEMPORARY BROADCAST LOCATION AT RACOM WAS NECESSARY DUE TO HIGH WATER AT THE ALLIANT ENERGY SITE. THE HIGH WATER HAS RECEDED AND BROADCAST EQUIPMENT RESTORED TO FULLY OPERATIONAL.

NOAA ALL HAZARDS WEATHER RADIO STATION KXI98 AT MARSHALLTOWN TRANSMITS ON 162.500 MHZ FROM TOWER SPACE PROVIDED BY OUR PARTNERS AT ALLIANT ENERGY. THE KXI98 BROADCAST IS CHANNEL 5 ON MOST RADIO RECEIVERS.

LISTENERS IN MARSHALL COUNTY IOWA WILL NOW RECEIVE WATCHES AND WARNINGS FROM KXI98 ON 162.500 MHZ...CHANNEL 5 ON MOST RADIO RECEIVERS. ALL OTHER PROGRAMMING CHANGES WILL RETURN TO NORMAL.
