A powerful winter storm moved across the upper Midwest, spreading heavy snow and strong winds across the region beginning Friday night and ending Sunday morning.  The heaviest snow fell in south central Minnesota and northern Wisconsin.  In Iowa, snowfall totals ranged from a couple of inches in the southeast, to a foot or more in extreme northeast Iowa. The link below shows a snowfall map from this winter storm.
