February 1 Winter System Information - 8 am Update

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect Saturday for all of Southeast Lower Michigan.  A heavy, wet snowfall of 4 to 7 inches is expected from the M-59 corridor north, with the heaviest snow falling from mid morning to late afternoon. Snow will then linger into the evening.  The highest snowfall totals are expected between the M-59 and I-69 corridors where a period of sleet will also be possible during the afternoon. Further south, snow will mix with or change to sleet and rain and lead to lower snowfall accumulations of 3 to 5 inches from the I-94 corridor south, with the lowest amounts near the Ohio border.  See the links below for more information.
