Freeze Warnings/Frost Advisories Have Been Discontinued for the Season for Southeast Lower Michigan


Many locations in Southeast Michigan have experienced a killing freeze this October and other areas have had several frosty mornings.  Due to those frosts and freezes and the time of year, the growing season has effectively ended for 2010.  The NWS Detroit/Pontiac office has discontinued the issuance of Frost Advisories and Freeze Warnings.  The Frost/Freeze program will begin again in the Spring of 2011.
