Earthquake felt over Southeast Michigan

Many residents across Southeast Michigan felt an earthquake early Tuesday afternoon, about 20 minutes before 2 pm.

The USGS has reported that an earthquake occurred at 1:41 PM EDT Wed June 23rd centered near Cumberland, Canada.

This is near the border of southern Ontario and Quebec. The effects of this earthquake were felt all the

way into Michgan and Ohio. The magnitude of this earthquake was 5.5 on the Richter Scale.
