A line of severe storms raced through portions of the area late Tuesday Evening. These storms developed along a slow moving cold front. Near record highs Tuesday afternoon helped provide the instability that fueled these storms. The storms produced strait line wind damage along and north of a line from Lansing to Port Huron. The following is a summary of reports received to the National Weather Service late last evening. Early indications this morning are that trees and power lines were blown down throughout the counties of Midland, Bay, Saginaw, Tuscola, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer and Sanilac.
