The historic warm spell (some may even say hot) which occurred last week has caused the plants across Southeast Michigan to blossom 4 to 5 weeks ahead of schedule. Those with agriculteral interests in Southeast Michigan will be bracing for the negative impacts of such early warm weather. The coldest night and thus the potential for a hard freeze will occur Tonight when temperatures are forecast to drop to the middle to upper 20s.
