Severe Weather Threat Tonight

Low pressure developing over the plains will track through central lower Michigan tonight.  This system will pull a warm front north through southern lower michgian during the evening hours.  Thunderstorms are expected to develop over northern and central Wisconsin and move eastward through Michigan during the overnight hours. At this time the activity is expected to move into the region sometime after 8 pm EDT.  There is a slight risk of severe weather with storms capable of producing damaging winds with wind gusts of 60 mph along with 1 inch diameter hail.  Additional details, watches and warnings in effect, and preparedness information are available at the following links:
