As September ends and the daylight hours get shorter, frost and freeze conditions will become much more common across Southeast Michigan. This will bring an end to the growing season sometime in October.

Here is the latest map of cities in the Midwest and the dates of the their first freeze. Currently, only a few locations in Southeastern Michigan have reached this mark.
