Winter Weather Advisory in Effect through this Evening

A strong storm system will continue across the Great Lakes today.   Strengthening northwest winds will gust to 45 mph at times through the evening hours.  In addition, light snow will continue across the region with accumulation ranging from 1 to locally 3 inches.   A winter weather advisory is in effect through midnight.
