Winter Storm to gradually wind down today

A low pressure system will stall over Southwest Lower Michigan this morning before being drawn east into a second developing low pressure system over Upstate New York. Light to occasionally moderate snow will continue to pivot northwestward into the area around this system. The most persistent snow will become focused north of Interstate 69 this morning, and particularly over the Thumb where a few more inches of snow can be expected. Further south, a mixture of rain and snow showers will maintain very sloppy conditions this morning.
