Southeast Michigan Spring Frost and Freeze Information

With the first prolonged warmer stretch of temperatures finally here, thoughts will turn to traditional spring time activities including planting, gardening and other work around the yard.  While the warmer weather will make it tempting to start planting, Southeast Michigan is still at risk for frost and freeze conditions. For nights and early mornings that have the potential to become frosty or have temperatures fall below freezing, the NWS Detroit will be issuing Frost Advisories or Freeze Warnings starting the morning of May 6th.
