First Widespread Accumulating Snow of the Season for Southeast Michigan

Low pressure tracking through the Ohio Valley will bring the first widespread accumulating snow of the season to Southeast Michigan Today through this evening.  Snow will increase in coverage and intensity this morning from south to north.  Several inches of accumulating snowfall is anticipated, with accumulations ranging from 3 to 5 inches north of Interstate 69...to 4 to 6 inches across the south. Lenawee, Monroe, and Wayne Counties are in a Winter Storm Warning through midnight, and can expect 5-8".  Moderate to heavy snowfall will continue through this afternoon.  Gusty East winds will cause some blowing and drifting of the snow.
