Deere & Company World Headquarters Recognized as a StormReady Supporter

The National Weather Service office in the Quad Cities honored Deere & Company World Headquarters in Moline, Illinois as a StormReady Supporter at a ceremony on February 15, 2008 at Deere & Company World Headquarters.

The NWS designed StormReady to help communities, businesses, and other organizations better prepare for and mitigate the effects of extreme weather-related events. StormReady essentially sets an industry standard for severe weather preparedness and safety. 

Deere & Company World Headquarters is the first organization in the Quad Cities metro area to receive StormReady Supporter recognition, the second in Illinois, and the 60th in the United States.
