Spring Flood Outlook #3 Now Available (3/28/2008)

Our third Spring Flood and Water Resources Outlook is now available.  This is our final Spring Flood and Water Resources Outlook for this season. We will continue issuing our routine 90-day AHPS outlooks around the 1st of every month however. we will issue our next routine 90-day outlook around May 1 2008.

This outlook is issued as a Hydrologic Outlook...or the product CHIESFDVN. Its WMO ID is FGUS73 KDVN.

In addition to the Spring Flood Outlook...we also routinely issue a 90-day Long Range Probabilistic Outlook /LRPO/ every month of the year around the 1st of the month. These outlooks include the probabilities of rivers rising above certain stages or falling below certain stages. These outlooks are also issued as a Hydrologic Outlook. They are part of the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Services /AHPS/...which is a suite of forecasts...warnings and statements for area rivers.
