1) FEB 24 2007. 1/2 TO 1 1/2 INCH ICE ACCUMULATION. MAJOR POWER OUTAGES.

2) NOV 28 1983.  POWER OUT FOR SEVERAL DAYS.  RADIO TRANSMISSION TOWERS  KNOCKED DOWN.

3) JAN 22-23 1965. AVERAGE 1 INCH ICE ACCUMULATION. TRAVEL IMPOSSIBLE.

4) FEB 8-10 1959. SOME ICE BUT MAINLY HEAVY SNOW EVENT.

5) JAN 7 1937. PROBABLY THE WORST ICE STORM ON RECORD FOR EASTERN IOWA.
ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES. ICE ON GROUND FOR 6 WEEKS
AFTERWARDS.
