WARREN COUNTY ILLINOIS HAS CONFIRMED STRAIGHT LINE WIND DAMAGE NEAR KIRKWOOD
ON THE AFTERNOON OF AUGUST 23 2007.

ESTIMATED TIME: 12:54 TO 1:05 PM CDT
EF SCALE RATING: EF1...WINDS ESTIMATED AROUND 100 MPH
INJURES: NONE REPORTED
DAMAGE: LARGE TREES BLOWN ONTO NUMEROUS HOUSES AND OTHER STRUCTURES.
ONE HOUSE HAD 1/4 OF THE ROOF RIPPED OFF. A GRAIN SILO WAS PUSHED OFF
ITS BLOCKS AND SEVERAL WERE DENTED INWARD. NUMEROUS CORN FIELDS WERE
FLATTENED BETWEEN KIRKWOOD AND MONMOUTH.
