A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS...MOVING RAPIDLY ACROSS EASTERN IOWA LATE
EVENING PRODUCED AN EF1 TORNADO FROM 4 MILES SOUTH OF LAMONT IOWA
TO EDGEWOOD IOWA IN BUCHANAN AND DELAWARE COUNTIES.

PATH LENGTH /STATUTE/: 17 MILES
PATH WIDTH /MAXIMUM/: 50 YARDS
FATALITIES: 0 INJURIES: 0

START DATE: MONDAY JUNE 16 2014
START TIME: 930 PM CDT
START LOCATION: 4 SOUTH OF LAMONT IOWA
START LAT/LON: 42.54N/91.63W

END DATE: MONDAY JUNE 16 2014
END TIME: 955 PM CDT
END LOCATION: SOUTH EDGEWOOD
END LAT/LON: 42.62N/91.38W

A TORNADO FORMED 4 MILES SOUTH OF LAMONT IOWA AND CONTINUED FOR 17
MILES TO THE NORTHEAST TO EDGEWOOD IOWA. MOST OF THE DAMAGE WAS
SOUTH AND EAST OF DUNDEE INTO SOUTH EDGEWOOD. SEVERAL GRAIN BINS
COLLAPSED OR WERE DESTROYED. TWO OLD HOG CONFINEMENTS WERE
SERIOUSLY DAMAGED ALONG WITH AN ALUMINUM ROOF BEING TORN OFF.
NUMEROUS TREES WERE SNAPPED ALONG THE PATH.
