Cold air will return to the region tonight with near record lows in some spots.  With the cold air comes the potential for frost.   Areas at greatest risk are mainly along and north of I-80.  

Some plants such as tomatoes, strawberries in bloom,  and tropicals may be susceptible to damage if they are not protected.
