New Left Hand Menu Changes

To standardize the look and feel of individual Weather Forecast Office websites across our region we have shortened our left hand menu.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. See below for a list of the changes with alternate ways to access the removed links. If you notice something missing, please feel free to contact us at w-dvn.webmaster@noaa.gov. Thank you for your patience.

Current Hazards

U.S. Hazards -  this link can be found on our Watches/Warnings page, in the Region-National box.

Hurricane Info - can now be found under Forecasts Section on our new menu.

espotter -  had a name change.  Now entitled Submit Report.

Current Conditions
Radar is a new addition to Current Conditions.  It links to our local radar.
Rivers Lakes & AHPS has moved to the Hydrology Section and is now called Rivers & Lakes 
Precip Estimate is now called Observed Precip.
Snow Cover,  can be found on our Observations page.
Road Conditions can be found on our Preparedness page.
Drought Status is now called Drought and has been relocated to the Climate Section.
Radar Imagery - no longer exists
The link to the Local Radar can be found under Current Conditions Section .
Nationwide   radar can be found on the Local Radar page, on the left had menu under U.S. Views.
Regional  radar can be found on the Local Radar page towards the bottom.  Look for National Radar Mosaic Sectors and click the image.
Local Radar(Faster) can also be found on the Local Radar page at the top. Under the Quad Cities, IA Radar banner look for the link that says Go to: Standard Version.
Forecasts
Forecast Discussion is a new link.  This product gives technical details about the current weather and the upcoming forecast.
Severe Weather -  a new link that takes you to the Storm Predicition Center web site.
Hurricane Center - links to the National Hurricane Center.  Has been relocated from the Current Hazards Section.
Graphical - can be accessed via the tab above our Forecast map on the Home page.
Interactive - can be found on our Local Area Forecast page.
Air Quality - can now be found on our Items of Interest page
Space Weather - can now be found on our Items of Interest page
Rivers/Hydrology - renamed to Hydrology
AHPS /River Info - renamed to Rivers & Lakes
Flood Safety - can be found on our Preparedness page
Climate
Drought - relocated from the Current conditions to here.
Weather Safety

StormReady - our local StormReady page can be found on our Preparedness page.  The StormReady link now goes to the National StormReady page.

EMWIN - can be found on our Preparedness page.
Local Information - renamed to Additional Info
Items of Interest - new page currently contains relocated information.
Education Resources - new link to the national NOAA Education page

Science & Education - can be found on the new Items of Interest page.

Downloads  can be found on the new Items of Interest page.
