All-day Rain Extends Record Cold Spell

A nearly all-day rain event, which also resulted in a new daily rainfall record in Dubuque, extended the record cold weather for one more day.

The rainfall total at Dubuque for July 21 was 2.42 inches.
The previous record was 2.09 inches set in 1935.
