Light snow, possibly moderate at times, will continue today and tonight, gradually ending from west to east overnight. Total accumulations of 4 to 9 inches can be expected over much of the region. Winds will increase out of the northwest this afternoon...sustaining near 20 mph with gusts to over 30 mph late this afternoon and evening...before slowly subsiding by Wednesday morning. These winds will create significant blowing and drifting of the snow...which is expected to cause travel problems.
