TORNADO 1: JACKSON COUNTY IOWA TORNADO INFORMATION...

* LOCATION...NORTH EDGE OF MAQUOKETA.
* TIME...APPROXIMATELY 740 PM CDT ON 6/5/10.
* INJURIES/FATALITIES...1 INJURY.
* EF-SCALE RATING...EF1.
* ESTIMATED WIND SPEED...105 MPH.
* MAX WIDTH...150 YARDS.
* PATH LENGTH...APPROXIMATELY 2 1/4 MILES.
* DAMAGE INFORMATION...NUMEROUS TREES WERE UPROOTED OR SNAPPED.
  MANY MOBILE HOMES AND VEHICLES WERE DAMAGED BY FALLING TREES
  AND LIMBS. A PORCH WAS TORN FROM THE FRONT OF A FARM HOUSE AND
  SEVERAL OUTBUILDINGS WERE DAMAGED...INCLUDING AN OPEN-FRONT
  GARAGE THAT WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED. THE SIGN AT THE ELEMENTARY
  SCHOOL WAS DESTROYED AND A ROOFTOP AIR CONDITIONER WAS MOVED...
  DAMAGING THE ROOF.

* LOCATION...2.6 MILES NORTH-NORTHEAST OF GOOSE LAKE.
* TIME...APPROXIMATELY 8 PM CDT ON 6/5/10.
* INJURIES/FATALITIES...NONE.
* EF-SCALE RATING...EF0.
* ESTIMATED WIND SPEED...75 MPH.
* MAX WIDTH...100 YARDS.
* PATH LENGTH...APPROXIMATELY 1/2 MILE.
* DAMAGE INFORMATION...LARGE BRANCHES WERE SNAPPED FROM MANY TREES.

TORNADO : PUTNAM COUNTY ILLINOIS TORNADO INFORMATION...

* LOCATION...WESTERN EDGE OF SAWMILL LAKE...OR 2 MILE EAST
  NORTHEAST OF HENRY ILLINOIS...CONTINUOUS THROUGH MAGNOLIA...
  ENDING 3 MILES EAST OF MAGNOLIA IN WESTERN LA SALLE COUNTY.
* TIME...TOUCHDOWN APPROXIMATELY 810 PM CDT...ENDING AROUND 835 PM.
* INJURIES/FATALITIES...NONE.
* EF-SCALE RATING...HIGH END EF2.
* ESTIMATED WIND SPEED...135 MPH.
* MAX WIDTH...1/2 MILE.
* PATH LENGTH...APPROXIMATELY 9.5 MILES.
* VISUALLY APPEARED AS A WEDGE TORNADO.
* DAMAGE INFORMATION...THE TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN AT THE SHORE OF SAWMILL
  LAKE...ALREADY SEEING A PATH WIDTH AROUND 1/2 MILE WIDE. NUMEROUS HARDWOOD
  TREES WERE SNAPPED OFF AND SHREDDED...LAYING IN SCATTERED DIRECTIONS. THE
  DAMAGE CONTINUED TOWARD TAYLOR ROAD...WITH EXTENSIVE TREE DAMAGE AND
  SECONDARY DAMAGE TO SOME BUILDINGS. A PHOTO OF THE TORNADO LOOKING OVER THIS
  PORTION OF THE DAMAGE AREA SHOWED A LARGE WEDGE TORNADO. GENERALLY ALONG
  COUNTY ROAD 150 N AND HIGHWAY 18 WEST OF MAGNOLIA...MANY FARM OUTBUILDINGS...
  INCLUDING A LARGE BARN AND STEEL SHED WERE DESTROYED. A 400-450 FOOT TALL CELL
PHONE COMMUNICATION TOWER WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYED. THIS IS CONSISTENT WITH HIGH 
  END EF2 DAMAGE. IN MAGNOLIA...THE TORNADO LIGHTLY DAMAGED NUMEROUS RESIDENCES
  WITH EXTENSIVE TREE DAMAGE OVER ALL BUT SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE TOWN.
  4 STRUCTURES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF TOWN SAW A TOTAL LOSS OF ROOF...ALSO
  CONSISTENT WITH EF2 RATING. THE TORNADO DROPPED TO EF0 INTENSITY AS IT
  APPROACHED AND CROSSED INTO LA SALLE COUNTY WHERE A NWS CHICAGO SURVEY TEAM
  INDICATES IT LIFTING 1.23 MILES EAST OF THE COUNTY LINE...JUST SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 18.
