A rather strong clipper system will bring 3 to 5 inches of snow to locations along and north of Interstate 80, with locally higher amounts possible. To the south, there will be a mix of precipitation keeping snow amounts about 2 inches or less. Ice accumulations should be less than 1/4 inch. The bulk of the precipitation should end by this evening, followed by patchy freezing drizzle.
