August 2011 recap

Another hot and dry month occurred across eastern Iowa, northwest Illinois, and extreme northeast Missouri in August. Most locations received at least two inches below normal precipitation for the month. Below is the listing of rainfall and normal monthly rainfall in August for our climate sites in our area.
