  • Timing...snow is expected to move into locations south of Ottumwa to Galesburg Illinois late Monday night. The snow will spread north through the morning and afternoon Tuesday
  • Winds...northeast 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph
  • Visibilities...as low as 1/4 mile at times in snow and blowing snow mainly in southern one third of forecast area
  • Temperatures...around 30°
  • Wind chill readings...as low as 17°
  • Impacts...travel is likely to become very hazardous late Monday night and Tuesday morning as snow and blowing snow spread north from Missouri. Widespread dangerous travel is possible through Tuesday evening.
