Rainfall Summary for Monday-Thursday

A strong storm system slowly crossed the midwest this week. Some rain and snow chances continue today; however, the heaviest rain with this system has moved to the east and has ended for our area. The image below shows the cumulative rainfall from Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Note the heaviest amounts in the tri-state area around Dubuque, where 3-day totals topped 4 inches!

Area rivers are now on the rise, with some points climbing above flood stage. Keep an eye on river levels through our Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service.
