Open Country Blizzard This Afternoon and Evening in the Northern Red River Valley

Hazardous conditions are expected this afternoon and tonight, with blizzard conditions expected across the northern Red River Valley from mid-afternoon through mid-evening, as winds gust to 45 mph. Conditions will be worse in open, rural areas. A few periods of light snow are expected this afternoon through tomorrow morning, with up to 4 inches possible near the Canadian border, and lower amounts around an inch farther south. Some light mixed precipitation will lead to hazardous travel in some areas tonight. Please stay up to date with the latest forecast.
