Severe Summer Weather Awareness Week in both North Dakota and Minnesota is set for April 21 through 25, 2008. This is a joint effort between NOAA’s National Weather Service, and our state, county and local emergency managers.

Daily themes and safety information will be provided via NOAA Weather Wire and NOAA Weather Radio.  You can access much of this information online through the  Minnesota Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Mangement.

Statewide "TEST" Tornado Drills will be conducted in North Dakota on Wednesday, April 23, around 11:15 AM CDT.  In Minnesota this test will take place on Thursday, April 24, at around 1:45 PM CDT and again around 6:55 PM CDT.
