April 25-26, 2008 Snow Event - Updated Totals
Another significant late season snow event has affected portions of the area. Areas from extreme Southeast North Dakota into West Central Minnesota have received 8 up to 18 inches of snow locally. Some areas from Detroit Lakes to Bemidji south to Wadena Minnesota have surpassed April snowfall records. Further information on these records will be provided in the coming weeks.
Heavy...wet late season snow fell from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning across parts of southeast North Dakota and west central and northwest Minnesota. The following are snow fall reports received from National Weather Service cooperative observers, trained spotters, broadcast media and the public.
