Strong Winds Expected This Afternoon through Sunday

A strong cold front will sweep through the area this afternoon and tonight. This front will usher in the coldest air of this season, along with the threat for snow showers and wind gusts over 50 mph possible by Sunday. Some areas in northwest Minnesota near the international border may see light snow accumulations, and brief visibility reduction when snow showers combine with the strong winds. Stay tuned for later statements on this significant weather event.
