Significant Snow and Wind Possible This Weekend

Expect another strong winter storm this weekend. Most areas will see six or more inches of new snow Friday night through Sunday morning. Northerly winds will increase significantly, creating near blizzard conditions, Saturday afternoon and Saturday night mainly along and west of the Red River Valley. Dangerous wind chills to 40 below zero will also develop Saturday night into Sunday morning. Travel throughout the entire region may become very difficult by Saturday.
