More Significant Snow Possible

Another winter storm will impact the area Friday night into Saturday. It appears that one area of snow, possibly heavy at times, will spread across northern North Dakota Friday evening, then move into the northern valley by midnight Friday night. A second area of snow, possibly heavy, will develop over the Red River Valley into much of Minnesota Saturday. Areas in the watch area could see 6 or more inches of new snow. Winds are not expected to be that strong during this event, although some drifting and blowing snow is possible.
