After a fairly mild week, more cold air is on the way for Thursday night through the upcoming weekend. A cold front will move quickly from north to south Thursday night, and usher in much colder air. Northerly winds will also gust over 30 mph at times Thursday night, coupled with some light snow may produce some drifting or perhaps blowing snow in open areas. Temperatures will fall below zero by Friday, along with wind chills from 25 to 40 below developing. Temperatures will remain well below normal through early next week.
