Rains fell over the entire Red River Valley and Lakes country Sunday afternoon March 22nd, and into Monday Morning March 23rd. The heaviest rains fell in the southern Red River Valley in the Wahpeton/Breckenridge, Fargo, Detroit Lakes, up towards Thief River Falls, the Roseau and Warroad areas. Amounts varied quite a bit, with the heaviest rains in excess of 3 inches in a few spots of the southern Red River Basin.
