More Rain...Then Snow

Another round of rain is forecast for the Red River Valley region, changing to snow in the Devils Lake Basin first. The rain will have an immediate effect on area Rivers, and then the colder temperatures will slow the melt of the remaining snow pack. However, the colder air will turn the rain to snow, with heavy snows a possibility. This will add to the existing snow pack Below is the forecast, as of Monday afternoon, March 23rd for the 24 hour total rainfall from 7 pm Monday through 7 pm Tuesday.
