Strong Winds and Much Colder Temperatures for Sunday

A strong cold front will move quickly through the region Sunday morning. The front will usher in much colder temperatures and strong winds. Northwest winds may gust up to 45 mph at times Sunday afternoon, and temperatures will fall below normal. With the recent warm and tranquil weather for the area so far this month, Sunday will bring a change to very windy conditions and the coldest air of the fall season so far. In addition, rain showers will likely accompany the cold front, with the best chance for rain near the Canadian border.
