Snow will develop over the southern Red River Valley Sunday night, then spread north and east to the Canadian border by Monday morning. The snow is expected to continue on Monday, before tapering off Monday night. Most areas across eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota should see the first snow accumulation of the season. Areas along and south of Interstate 94 have the potential to see the higher snow totals.
At this time it is not possible to make an accurate prediction of snowfall amounts. The exact track of the storm is still uncertain, and this will determine who gets the most snow. Stay tuned to later forecasts on this potential snow event.
