Storm Will Weaken Tonight

The storm system that brought a variety of winter weather to the region will continue to weaken tonight.  There will be areas of blowing and drifting snow through the night in the Red River Valley, along with dangerous wind chills from 25 to 30 below developing by Tuesday morning.  Visibilities will continue to slowly improve throughout the region as winds subside overnight.  Roads also remain very icy, and significant snow drifts are prominent in open country from Monday's blizzard and will likely persist until Tuesday morning.  Use caution if you must travel.

Conditions will improve greatly by Tuesday morning, although it will remain cold through the week.
