The upper level system has moved into central North Dakota this afternoon and this will move into South Dakota tonight. The snow with this will exit the area this evening. But not before leaving some very high snowfall totals in the Devils Lake-Rugby-Valley City areas where up to a foot of snow fell in the Maddock area. Look for north to northeast winds to increase to 20 to 30 mph later tonight into Sunday causing blowing and drifting snow and low visibilities in areas where the snow fell. In the northern valley where only trace amounts of snow fell...drifting snow will occur Sunday due to strong north winds.
