Accumulating Snow Possible Today into Tonight

Snow is expected today in the Devils Lake region south into Barnes county. Expect 1 to 3 inches of slushy wet snow here with isolated amounts of up to 4 inches, and a slick morning commute.  Elsewhere, expect a rain and snow mix today in the Red River Valley with minor accumulations possible.  Further east from Bemidji to Park Rapids and Wadena, rain should mix with snow today and change to snow by this evening.  Expect 1 to 2 inches of snow and some slick spots for the evening commute.  Temperatures will be nearly 30 degrees below normal today with northerly winds increasing as well.  The cold weather will remain and frost is likely both Saturday and Sunday morning.  The colder morning should be Sunday under high pressure and light winds.
