Severe Thunderstorms Possible and Very Windy Thursday

A strong cold front is expected to sweep through the region on Thursday.   Ahead of this front, strong southerly winds will gust over 45 mph at times with higher gusts possible near any showers or storms. The potential exists for severe thunderstorms containing damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes along and ahead of this cold front throughout the day on Thursday for the entire region.
