New Page Displays Grower and Water User Information

Your NOAA's National Weather Service in Grand Forks is now producing weather and climate information that is of use to growers, water managers and others with an interest in how weather impacts gardens, lakes and rivers. The page is located on the NWS Grand Forks "More" Climate section, and is titled Information of Interest to Area Growers. At the present time we are producing Base 50F Growing Degree Days for select locations in eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota, as well as Experimental Evapotranspiration Forecasts. Other links include the latest Palmer Drought Severity index (PDSI) and the Standard Precipitation Index (SPI). More information will be posted as it is developed.
