Rain Expected Through Tonight

Rainfall is likely over much of southeast North Dakota into portions of west central Minnesota through tonight.  Widespread rainfall amounts from 1 to 2 inches are likely, with higher amounts possible.  This expected rain will cause river rises in the southern Red River valley, in addition to minor flooding and ponding of water in poorly drained and urban areas.  The storm system moving our way is more fall-like in nature and therefore rainfall will be more widespread.

Here is the 1 to 3 day total rainfall expected (as issued Monday morning)
