Update on Current Storm
Conditions will continue to improve this afternoon.
Low pressure over west central Minnesota will move east today, allowing northwest winds to slowly decrease through the day. Therefore, blizzard conditions have ended in the Red River valley, although blowing and drifting snow will persist until 4 pm mainly in open country. Look for visibilities in towns and sheltered locations to be much greater than rural areas, with all locations improving by late afternoon and evening once winds subside.
