Snow Expected Friday

An early Spring snow storm will impact the region Friday. Significant amounts of snow are expected around Valley City, where 6 to 8 inches should fall.  Further to the east, lighter amounts are expected although most areas should get from 2 to 4 inches of snow with local variations from melting on warmer ground.  Roads may become slick and snow covered Friday, and with many flooded roads caution is advised with water close to many roads.  Snow should slowly taper off Friday evening in eastern North Dakota, and late Friday night in northwest Minnesota.
