Conditions Improve Tonight, Blizzard Possible Tuesday and Wednesday
Conditions will continue to improve this evening with blowing and drifting snow ending by midnight. Additional accumulations of less than one inch are expected through this evening. Attention will then shift to a more potent storm system that will impact the region Tuesday and Wednesday. Blizzard condition may develop in the southern Red River Valley and possibly spread as far north as the Highway 2 corridor. At this point there is the potential for a foot or more of snow in the southern Red River Valley with lighter amounts to the north. The biggest impacts will be felt here, and travel may become impossible by Tuesday afternoon into Wednedsday with significant blowing and drifting snow.
