Strong Winds, Rain and Accumulating Snow Possible

Rain will continue across southeast North Dakota and west central Minnesota slowly spreading north today. The favored area for rain will be along and south of line from Fargo to Bemidji. Some areas could get an inch or more of rain.  Lesser amounts are expected farther north. Strong winds of 25 to 35 mph and higher gusts will develop in southeast North Dakota as a strong area of low pressure tracks across southern Minnesota. Rain may also change to snow tonight, and some accumulation is possible across southern and eastern parts of the region. Stay tuned to later statements on this upcoming weather event.
