Severe Storms Possible Today

There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening mainly along and east of the Red River Valley. Scattered showers and thunderstorms this morning across the southern valley and west central Minnesota will expand in areal coverage this afternoon and evening. some storms may be severe with large hail, damaging wind, and isolated tornadoes. Otherwise, high temperatures today will range from 65 to 75 degrees with a breezy southerly wind shifting to the west later tonight after a cold front moves across the region.
