Dangerous Winter Weather Through Tonight

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through Thursday morning. Total storm amounts (from Tuesday afternoon into Thursday morning) are expected to range from 4 to 8 inches in the southern valley...and 6 to 12 inches across the north valley into Minnesota lakes country. North winds will be 20 to 35 mph along and west of the valley, creating blowing and drifting snow, especially in open country.  Wind chills will fall to 20 to 30 below by Thursday mornings commute.
